Continuing Education for Public Accounting

Certified Management Accountants seeking additional training in the area of Auditing Practice and Federal Income Taxation can now do so through the University of Waterloo. These non-credit courses are offered in Partnership with the Certified Management Accountants of Canada.

Course Structure

Each course being offered is 12 weeks in duration and is self paced. However, the entire course must be completed within 12 weeks and you must be available to write exams on certain dates. While the time required to complete each module may vary significantly, the expected time commitment is 10-12 hours per week.

Each course has a mid-term and an exam, arranged at locations by CMA societies across Canada.

CMA Tax II
CMA Tax III

CMA Audit I
CMA Audit II
