Request an official transcript
evaluation
The CMA path takes different forms in the same way that applicants have any one of many varied backgrounds
(and interests). CMA’s high standards are never comprised, but we do provide options and choices where we
can.
To optimize your time and efforts, we strongly encourage potential applicants to have a transcript
evaluation before applying for a program.
Transcript evaluation by CMA
Click here to view the CMA Eligibility-Review Request form.
This is the most-precise way to confirm your eligibility for a CMA program and is highly recommended. Our
admissions department looks forward to providing you with written confirmation of your standing as well
as a recommendation on your optimal CMA path.
To have a free transcript evaluation performed, please complete the CMA Eligibility-Review Request
form and send sealed official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. Official
transcripts to be evaluated can be sent directly from the office of the registrar to the following
address:
Certified Management Accountants
Attention: Admissions
1559 Brunswick Street, Suite 300
Halifax, NS, Canada
B3J 2G1
Fax: 1.902.423.1605
Please note that it normally takes up to five business days for CMA to respond with an evaluation and path
recommendation. In the case of transcripts from outside Canada, Bermuda, or the campuses of the University of
the West Indies, it may take up to 20 business days if course descriptions are not readily available.
When an evaluation has been completed our admissions department will contact you via email to provide you
with a detailed and concise recommendation for your CMA studies. Please ensure that we have a current email
address at time of evaluation.
Please note that all transcripts sent for evaluation become the property of CMA upon receipt. Transcripts
will not be returned to the individual.
