How can I receive advanced standing and bypass Step 1 and Step 2?

CMA-Accredited University Accounting Programs

Graduates of a CMA-accredited university program with an average of 75 per cent or higher may proceed directly to their CMA professional studies. It is highly recommended that university students have their transcript evaluated before graduation to ensure full coverage of the prerequisite topics. Note: these students must complete all 16 prerequisite topics prior to having their degree conferred and must do so within a total of six years.

CMA-accredited programs are offered in many Canadian markets. In the Atlantic region, this includes: Saint Mary’s University (Halifax), Memorial University (Newfoundland and Labrador), and Mount Allison University (New Brunswick).
